The OPPO Reno12 5G series of smartphones has been unveiled by the company, featuring both the Pro and standard models. Both devices share similarities in terms of screen size and processor, but soon they will be enhanced with AI-powered features to improve portrait photography.

The new series brings tools like AI Eraser 2.0, AI Studio, AI Smart Image Matting 2.0, AI Portrait, and AI Linkboost to enhance photo editing capabilities. With just a simple touch, users can easily remove unwanted elements from their photos with AI Eraser 2.0. Additionally, facial features and eye openings in portraits can be enhanced with AI Clear Face and AI Best Face.

AI Studio allows users to create digital avatars and artistic portrait styles from a single photo. Furthermore, AI Recording Summary can extract text summaries from voice recordings and organize them into notes for easy access later on. These features will be available on both the OPPO Reno12 5G and OPPO Reno12 Pro models.

The OPPO Reno12 Pro comes with an Infinite View screen that boasts a quad micro curve design, while both models feature a 6.7-inch 3D AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Splash Touch technology is also included for use with wet hands, stereo speakers, Ultra Volume 300%, and Holo Audio for an enhanced sound experience.

In terms of camera capabilities, the OPPO Reno12 Pro 5G offers a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x zoom while the standard model features a 2 MP telephoto lens. Both models have a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens as well as advanced selfie cameras with AI Portrait Retouching. The devices are powered by MediaTek Dimensity
