Oman’s trade balance showed a surplus of 2.6 billion riyals by the end of March, up 13.7% from the previous year, indicating strong growth in both exports and imports. The value of merchandise exports increased by 16.7% to reach 6.5 billion riyals, driven primarily by an increase in oil and gas exports, which rose by 3.1% to 3.72 billion riyals, and non-oil merchandise exports, which grew by 44.9% to 2.33 billion riyals. Additionally, re-exports from Oman increased by 26.8% to 442 million riyals.
