Oklahoma State clinched a spot in the Women’s College World Series by defeating Arizona 10-4 at Cowgirl Stadium. This victory marked their fifth consecutive appearance in the World Series and brought their season record to 49-10. Unfortunately, the loss ended Arizona’s season with a final record of 37-18-1.

Oklahoma State got off to a strong start, scoring three runs in the first inning, including a two-run home run by Tallen Edwards. Arizona responded with a run of their own in the bottom of the inning. Rosie Davis and Claire Timm hit solo home runs in the third inning, expanding the Cowgirls’ lead to 5-1. Caroline Wang’s two-run single in the fourth inning extended the lead to 7-1, but Arizona fought back with a two-run homer in the bottom of the inning.

In the fifth inning, Oklahoma State added three more runs to their tally, while Arizona managed to score one more run in the bottom of the frame. The Cowgirls’ offense was led by Davis, Timm, and Edwards, with Timm’s home run marking a historic milestone for the program.
