The NCAA Championship is being held in Carlsbad, California and Ohio State’s Adam Wallin is currently leading the tournament after 54 holes. Wallin shot a 3-under 69 on Sunday, putting him at an impressive 5-under par for the tournament. He has a two shot lead over Virginia’s Ben James and Stanford’s Karl Vilips going into the final round.

Wallin spoke about his performance, expressing satisfaction with his solid play and consistency. He emphasized the importance of hitting a high number of greens and avoiding mistakes in order to achieve success in golf. As he looks to maintain his lead in the final round, Wallin has the opportunity to become the first Ohio State player since Clark Burroughs in 1985 to win an NCAA Championship.

It’s not just Wallin who is doing well at the tournament, but Ohio State as a team is also performing well. They are currently in fifth place overall, with only eight teams advancing to match play to determine a team champion following the final round. Wallin and his teammates are focused on finishing strong in order to secure their place in the next stage of competition.
