The Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, led by Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jon Husted, announced on Wednesday that over $88 million will be dedicated to help nearly a dozen school districts in Appalachia. This funding is part of the Appalachian Community Innovation Centers Program, which aims to create full-service centers for public education, community health services, and career development in the region.
