WHITESBORO — The Genesis Group celebrated regional healthcare workers at its 16th Annual Healthcare Recognition occasion. Mohawk Valley Overall health Method (MVHS) officials also supplied updates on the Wynn Hospital at the occasion.
Healthcare worker recognition

Robert C. Scholefield, MS, RN and executive vice president of facilities and true estate for MVHS, received the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award and was inducted into the Healthcare Hall of Distinction.
Scholefield thanked his family members and coworkers, and acknowledged the other pros who had been honored.
“We all do this to serve our communities, we do not do it for the recognition, despite the fact that it is appreciated, thank you,” Scholefield stated.
Wynn Hospital update
Scholefield stated the Wynn Hospital is 90% comprehensive. In June, employees will start on-web page coaching and on Aug. 30, the developing will be substantially comprehensive and MVHS will take handle of the developing.
Scholefield stated it is on schedule to open on Oct. 29.
Scholefield affirmed that in spite of rumors, MVHS is not dropping its maternity solutions when the Wynn Hospital opens.
