NuWave Technology Partners LLC recently acquired Rapid Green IT Services Inc., a managed information technology services provider in Lansing, as their fourth acquisition since Chad and Kyle Paalman founded the company in 2005. This acquisition brings experienced professionals and capabilities in managed cybersecurity, compliance, cloud solutions, infrastructure management, and artificial intelligence to NuWave Technology Partners.

The Paalmans formed a shared services company called Team Prescott earlier this year to support managed services providers across the country who are considering succession planning. According to the recent announcement on the Rapid Green acquisition, this move is in line with NuWave’s expansion strategy to establish itself as a market leader in the IT services industry. Future acquisitions will be carried out through the Team Prescott organization.

Chad Paalman, CEO of Team Prescott, emphasized the importance of allowing MSP owners to focus on their passion for IT and helping people rather than being burdened by administrative tasks like managing payroll, accounting, legal matters, and HR. By taking on these responsibilities, Team Prescott enables MSP owners to dedicate their time to the aspects of their business that they enjoy most.

Rapid Green was founded in 2009 by the late Doug Kinney and will now operate under NuWave Technology Partners LLC. The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed by NuWave executives. Despite requests for an interview from Crain’s Grand Rapids Business, NuWave did not respond to inquiries from Crain’s Grand Rapids Business.
