Rajeev Murthy has recently been appointed as the senior director and managing director of Asia Pacific at NOVUS. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving commercial success, engaging employees, and developing talent while shaping and steering the company’s strategy in this important market. With over 25 years of industry experience under his belt, Murthy brings a proven track record of leadership to the table.
Originally from Bangalore, India, Murthy is passionate about the positive impact that animal agriculture can have on improving access to healthy and safe protein. When it comes to supporting poultry, swine, and dairy producers in Asia Pacific, he emphasizes the importance of customer profitability. Murthy recognizes that changing customer needs, sustainability concerns, and issues like African Swine Fever require innovative solutions to address them effectively.
To bring those solutions closer to customers in the region, Murthy will be based out of NOVUS’ office in Bangkok, Thailand. Prior to joining NOVUS, he held leadership roles at dsm-firmenich and Eli Lilly & Company in the animal nutrition and health sectors. He also served as the CEO of the feed business at Godrej Agrovet Ltd.
