Notre Dame football has just landed a highly sought after cornerback from the state of Indiana. Mark Zackery IV verbally committed to the Fighting Irish on Saturday, becoming the 22nd commitment in the 2025 class. The Indianapolis native was always high on Notre Dame during his recruitment and this paid off as he officially joined the team.

Zackery is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound corner who is ranked as the No. 135 prospect and No. 15th cornerback in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. With limited space remaining in the class, Notre Dame must be selective with any future commitments, but Zackery fits that mold perfectly.

Notre Dame now boasts commitments from three of the nation’s top secondary members, including Zackery, who is widely considered one of the best corners in his class. This latest addition will only strengthen an already impressive defense for Notre Dame and help them continue their success on the field.
