In 2023, defensive back Antonio Carter II arrived at Notre Dame from Rhode Island as a transfer. He had chosen the Irish over schools like LSU and Florida. During his time with Notre Dame, Carter recorded eight tackles. However, after the season ended, he announced that he would be entering the transfer portal.

On Monday, Carter revealed his next football destination: Jacksonville State. He was one of 17 former Notre Dame players who entered the transfer portal during the off-season, and all of them have since announced their new destinations. We wish Carter the best of luck at his new school and hope to see an upset victory over Florida State once again in the future.
