One such company that is investing in a new manufacturing unit in Noida is Greenlux. Dhruv Mahajan, the company’s director, believes that India’s competitive advantages position it favorably against China. Mahajan highlights India’s Western-style business culture and the government’s efforts to attract foreign investments as key factors contributing to India’s growth potential. In addition to Greenlux, companies like Halton and Normet are also considering expanding their operations in India due to promising market growth and government support for manufacturing under the Make in India program.

India’s protectionist policies have been a point of contention in negotiations with the EU. Despite challenges, both parties are working towards completing a trade agreement by the end of the year.
