On Monday, the Washington Commanders acknowledged that they were aware of a lawsuit filed against their kicker, Brandon McManus. The team spokesperson stated that they are investigating the matter and have been in contact with McManus’ agent and the NFL office. According to ESPN, two women are suing McManus for sexually assaulting them during a charter flight to London last year when he was with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Court documents that have not yet been posted on Duval County’s public records database allege that McManus rubbed and grinded against the two women during the flight. The women, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, are seeking over $1 million in damages and requesting a jury trial. An attempt to reach McManus’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, for comment was unsuccessful, and the Jacksonville Jaguars declined to comment on the matter.

McManus, who will turn 33 in July, signed with Washington in March after spending the first nine years of his NFL career with the Denver Broncos and playing college football at Temple University.
