The NFL Commissioner has expressed a desire to replace preseason games with regular-season games, but until that happens, the league is still looking for ways to monetize preseason matchups. This is where NFL Network comes in, as it needs more than just reruns of old games, NFL Films offerings, and Zoom-based studio shows.

To address this need, the NFL has announced that it will televise 21 preseason games live on NFL Network. This is seen as free content for the league since they simply run the feed from the local affiliate airing the games. The schedule includes a triple-header on Saturday, August 10th, a quadruple-header on Saturday, August 17th, and another quadruple-header on Saturday, August 24th.

Throughout the preseason, NFLN will broadcast seven live games in Week 1st, six in Week 2nd and eight in Week 3rd. The network’s preseason coverage will culminate with a game between the Saints and Titans on Sunday, August 25th. According to recent insights on PFT Live, some viewers are even considering placing a bet on these two teams facing off in the next Super Bowl with odds currently at 3000:1. Feel free to take a chance and bet $10 on this outcome if you think it might come true!
