Amazon Games has announced that New World: Aeternum will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC starting October 15, 2024. This enhanced version of the original New World game was showcased during the Summer Game Fest on June 9, along with a trailer that highlighted its massively multiplayer online (MMO) gameplay.
New World: Aeternum is an upgraded version of the original New World game, which was released on Steam in 2021. The new version includes additional content such as the game’s first large-scale player vs. player zone, a 10-player raid, end-game solo trials, updated character archetypes, and more. With the expansion to console, cross-platform play has been confirmed, allowing players on different platforms to team up and play together online.
