In his new role as Vice President of Defense Technology at RTX, Zachary Dutton will work closely with Scott Kaslusky to develop technical strategies for the company’s subsidiaries, including Raytheon, Collins Aerospace, and Pratt & Whitney. This marks a transition from his previous position as Business Lead of Physical Sciences and Systems at BBN Technologies.

Dutton initially joined what was then Raytheon BBN Technologies in September 2007 as a Lead Scientist. During his time as Lead Scientist, he focused on quantum information technology. In January 2018, he moved into the role of Business Lead within the company.

Prior to joining Raytheon BBN, Dutton held a position as a Research Physicist at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. His extensive experience in the defense and technology sectors positions him well for his new role at RTX.
