Joey Fingland, a senior at New Ulm Cathedral, recently shot an impressive 84 at the New Ulm Country Club during the opening leg of the Tomahawk Conference Golf Tournament. His outstanding performance helped lead his team to an early advantage in the race for conference title. In a recent interview with Travis Rosenau, Fingland revealed that he admires both Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler as golfers.

When asked about his favorite golf course, Fingland mentioned Wild Rock in Wisconsin Dells as the most enjoyable experience he has had on a course. Off the golf course, he enjoys watching baseball and softball games, as many of his friends play those sports. Fingland’s favorite movie is Captain America: Civil War. His interests and hobbies showcase a well-rounded athlete who loves golf and other sports and activities alike.
