Carlisle United has signed midfielder Ethan Robson on a two-year contract, following his departure from MK Dons. The 27-year-old player began his career with Sunderland’s academy and later played for Blackpool before joining MK Dons. During his time with MK Dons, Robson made a total of 60 appearances on the field.

As Carlisle prepares for the upcoming League Two season, manager Paul Simpson is excited to have Robson on board. Simpson praised Robson’s skills and attacking prowess on the pitch, stating that his left-footed playing style will provide a valuable balance to the team.

Simpson specifically highlighted Robson’s ability to find key passes with his left foot, setting up goals and contributing to the team’s overall performance. However, Simpson also expressed his desire for Robson to increase his goal-scoring capabilities by utilizing his strong left foot to challenge opposing goalkeepers.

As Carlisle looks ahead to its new season in League Two, Robson’s talent and experience will be crucial in helping the team compete effectively and aim for success despite their recent relegation to League One.
