Stephen Clemence, head coach of Barrow FC, has recently signed winger Connor Mahoney to their first-team squad for a two-year deal. The 27-year-old player was released by Huddersfield Town and reunites with his former coach. During his time at Gillingham last season, Mahoney scored seven goals in 42 appearances under Clemence’s guidance.

Mahoney expressed his excitement for his future with Barrow and is looking forward to what lies ahead as he joins the team. However, it has been announced that Ben Whitfield will be leaving Barrow after being unable to come to terms on a new contract.

Having played in the Championship for five different clubs, Mahoney brings a wealth of experience to the Bluebirds and will be a valuable asset to the team. With his skills and talent, Mahoney is expected to make a significant contribution to Barrow’s success in the upcoming season as he continues to work under Clemence’s guidance.
