Jørgen Strand Larsen, a Norwegian international who has represented his country 14 times, has been signed by Wolves on a season-long loan from Celta Vigo. The deal includes an option for a permanent transfer at £25 million if certain clauses are met. Larsen will be tied to the club until 2029.

Wolves were in need of a strong number nine and Larsen’s arrival fills that position perfectly. He led Celta Vigo in scoring with 13 goals during an impressive season in LaLiga.

Matt Hobbs, the sporting director of Wolves, expressed his satisfaction with the signing, stating that Larsen was their top target for the striker position this summer. With the addition of Larsen, Wolves have now bolstered their squad with four new players this transfer window – including Tommy Doyle, Pedro Lima, and Rodrigo Gomes.
