The Hampton & Peninsula Health Districts recently celebrated the move of the Peninsula Health Center (PHC) to a new location in Newport News, Virginia. The PHC is now located at the former Stratford University Building at 836-A J Clyde Morris Blvd. This new location is more central and conveniently located near I-64, making it easily accessible to the community.

During an Open House and Dedication Ceremony held by the district, various state and local officials gave speeches to commemorate the occasion. Tes La Dieu, Population Health Manager and Public Information Officer for the Hampton & Peninsula Health Districts, expressed excitement for the district’s future in public health innovation.

The relocation of the PHC signifies an important step forward for the Virginia Department of Health. This new facility will serve the community better and allow for more efficient and effective healthcare services.
