The Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Center, a 16,000 square foot expansion to the Klotsche Center & Pavilion at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus, opened in July of 2023. This new facility is predominantly used by the Panthers men’s and women’s basketball programs. It includes a full-sized basketball court, a basketball strength and conditioning center, video/film room, auxiliary sports medicine and treatment center, and a basketball student-athlete lounge. The community quickly took notice of this impressive new addition to the campus.

Last week, the Milwaukee Business Journal Real Estate Awards announced that the OHOW Center was named the “Best New Sports Facility” in their rankings for 2023. Cathy Rossi, the deputy athletic director, expressed excitement about how the new center will enhance the level of competition for student-athletes. She thanked everyone involved in the project, including JP Cullen, HGA, the State of Wisconsin, and others who helped bring the facility to life.

The Milwaukee Business Journal Real Estate Awards recognized outstanding real estate deals and projects of 2023. Judges focused on community impact and project success when selecting winners from over 50 submitted projects.
