In the June edition of my rest-of-season position rankings and overall top 300 for 5×5 leagues, I had to find a new No. 1 overall player, which caused a slight delay in publishing the rankings. Surprisingly, there are only about 120 players in the majors capable of hitting right now due to injuries to several top pitchers.

In the catcher rankings for the remainder of the season, Tom Murphy fell off the list due to his poor performance against both right-handed and left-handed pitchers. Despite this setback, Ryan Jeffers has been an impressive performer so far this season in the American League.

David Fry has been overachieving this season and his progress is evident with improved strikeout-to-walk ratios. While he may not maintain his current level of play, his versatility adds to his value as a legitimate regular for the Guardians. On the other hand, Iván Herrera is currently ranked 10th in the short term but is expected to lose value when Willson Contreras returns from a broken forearm injury potentially at the beginning of the second half.
