In rural parts of Fresno County, a new mobile health unit has been launched to provide residents with access to doctors and health care check-ups at no cost. The initiative is a significant step towards improving health outcomes in rural Fresno County, ensuring that residents have access to vital healthcare services.

Operated in partnership with the Fresno County Public Health Department and Saint Agnes Hospital’s Graduate Medical Education Program, the mobile health unit aims to improve healthcare access for those living in remote areas. This initiative is designed to make it easier for residents in rural communities to receive the care they need, without having to travel long distances to access medical services.

The unveiling of the mobile health unit was celebrated with a special blessing from Saint Agnes Spiritual Care, allowing people to tour the new vehicle and see firsthand the services it will provide. The Rural Mobile Health Program is set to make a difference in the lives of many individuals who may have struggled to access healthcare in the past. By bringing doctors and health check-ups directly to the community, this program is set to improve healthcare outcomes for those living in remote areas of Fresno County.
