In recent news, New Line Cagefighting held its first event at the Bridge Sports Complex in Bridgeport. The organization offered amateur and professional fights in grappling, boxing, kickboxing, and MMA. Local athletes such as Dillon Murphy, a professional MMA fighter, and Zack Humbertson from Ground Zero Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in Bridgeport participated in the event.

Humbertson, who is also an instructor at Ground Zero Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, described the type of individuals who are drawn to competitive fighting as either very laid back or slightly eccentric. He shared that he and some of his students would be competing in the fights.

Keith Noe, the owner of New Line Cagefighting, expressed his excitement about bringing this event to Bridgeport for the third time.
