Recently, the QSC Postdoctoral and Graduate Research Association (PGA) hosted a social event at which Ryan Linehan from Fermilab took over leadership responsibilities from Morris Yang. The event also featured a poster session sponsored by Microsoft, where five winners were chosen from among 37 presentations. The winners included Meena Gowrishankar from ORNL, Marc Illa Subina from the University of Washington, Grace Bratrud from Northwestern University, Jack Villanova from ORNL, and Mingi Kim from Purdue.
The attendees came from four national laboratories (Fermilab, LANL, ORNL, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory), four companies (EPRI, IBM, Infleqtion, and Microsoft), and nine universities (California Institute of Technology; UC Berkeley; UCLA; UC Santa Barbara; Illinois Institute of Technology; Northwestern; Purdue; University of Tennessee, Knoxville; and UW).
