Powers Insurance & Risk Management recently hired Josh Steinkoetter as a commercial lines sales account executive to expand its team. In other news, the U.S. Small Business Administration recognized Charlie M. Downs III as Missouri’s Small Business Person of the Year. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra appointed Allison W. Roberts from AT&T and Mark C. Throdahl from OrthoPediatrics as trustees for an initial term of three years. Side Project Brewing brought on board Executive Chef Adam Altnether, a St. Louis native who previously owned the restaurants Elmwood and Pizza Champ in Maplewood. Clayco welcomed Mikhail Berkovich as a director at Clayco’s Design & Engineering subsidiary CDE, while Ken Dean joined as a project director in operations in the St. Louis office. Lastly, PARIC Holdings appointed former President and Chief Operating Officer Kyle Lopez as the new chief executive officer, with former CEO Joe McKee now serving as chairman.
