OpenAI has recently made two key hires for its C-suite, bringing in Sarah Friar as CFO and Kevin Weil as chief product officer. Friar, who previously served as CEO of Nextdoor and CFO at Square, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Weil, who was head of product and business at Planet Labs and has held leadership roles at Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, also brings valuable expertise to his position at OpenAI.

In a statement, Sam Altman, the CEO of OpenAI, expressed excitement about the new additions to the team.
