Augusta Health has announced the appointment of Kris Doan as the new President of Augusta Medical Group, effective June 3. Doan brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership to his new role, having previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Health First in Melbourne, Florida for 18 years.

Clint Merritt, chief physician executive/chief medical officer of Augusta Health, highlighted Doan’s commitment to patient care and pursuit of excellence as key factors that align with Augusta Health’s core values. In a statement, Doan expressed his excitement about joining the Augusta Health and Augusta Medical Group family and contributing to the continued progress of the organization in enhancing the health and well-being of the community.
