According to cosmetic doctors, liposuction can result in various complications such as drug shock, anaphylactic shock, poisoning, fat embolism and even death if not promptly addressed. Fat embolism is a particularly dangerous complication that can occur during extended liposuction procedures where blood vessels are damaged. This can lead to fat cells being sucked back into the bloodstream and potentially causing adverse effects such as strokes, heart failure and pulmonary edema.
Abdominal liposuction is considered a major surgical procedure rather than a minor one and should ideally be performed in a hospital setting with standard operating rooms and anesthesiologists present to monitor and support patients during surgery. Before undergoing any liposuction procedure individuals should undergo comprehensive health evaluations and testing to ensure their suitability for the procedure. It is strongly advised against having abdominal liposuction performed at beauty salons due to associated risks and complexities of the surgery.
