Lutheran Health Network (LHN) has recently appointed Lori A. Ailor as the new Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Hospital. In addition to her new role, Ailor will continue to serve as CEO of The Orthopedic Hospital. With over 26 years of experience at LHN, Ailor has been the CEO of The Orthopedic Hospital for the past ten years.

Taking over the CEO position in mid-July, Ailor expressed her excitement about continuing LHN’s commitment to providing safe, high-quality, and accessible care to the communities served by Lutheran Hospital. She looks forward to utilizing her experience and knowledge of the market to benefit the patients, staff, and physicians of Lutheran Hospital. An active member of Fort Wayne’s community, Ailor is involved in various organizations such as PFW Athletics, Mad Anthonys, Downtown Fort Wayne, and Hope’s Harbor.

Former CEO Clyde Wood has now moved on to become CEO of a hospital in Missouri as of August 2023. A release from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center confirmed this update. Wood had been appointed as CEO of Lutheran Hospital in June 2022 before transitioning to his new role in Missouri.
