The Arizona Cardinals are preparing for the upcoming 2024 NFL season, which is just 93 days away. They will kick off the season against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. One player who will be looking to make a difference in his No. 93 jersey is defensive lineman Justin Jones, who recently signed a three-year free agent deal with the team. Jones is expected to be a key player on the Cardinals’ defense, providing support against the run and bringing pressure as a pass rusher. In the 2023 season, he recorded a career-high 4.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hits.

The last player to wear the No. 93 jersey for the Cardinals was defensive lineman Jonathan Ledbetter, who is currently unsigned after tearing his ACL at the end of last season. Ledbetter spent the past three seasons with the team, starting as a late addition in 2021 and eventually becoming a regular starter. In 2023, he amassed 46 tackles and 1.5 sacks before his injury. Ledbetter was also recognized for his community work off the field and earned the 2023 Walter Payton Man of the Year award for the Cardinals.

While Ledbetter made a significant impact wearing No. 93 for the Cardinals, there have been other notable players who have donned this number during their time with Arizona’s football team such as Calais Campbell, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Mark Smith among many others whose legacy still lingers in Arizona’s football history today..
