Jasmine Wong, a senior at Iolani School in Hawaii, became the first player from her school to win the individual championship in the David S. Ishii/HHSAA girls golf championships. She shot an even par 72 on the final day of the tournament to secure her victory, beating out Jessica Lee from Punahou by just one stroke.

Wong had previously won several HSJGA titles and ILH championships in 2024 and 2023, and she signed with Gonzaga in November to continue her golfing career. Despite facing tough competition from five other players who shot par or better on the final day of the tournament, Wong held on to win even after making a bogey on the par-3 final hole.

Punahou, led by Nicole Ikeda who had the best score of the tournament with a 2-under 70, went on to win their 13th girls team title with a combined score of 13-over 445 over the two days. They were the only team to shoot below par on either day, finishing at 4-under on the final day. Three players from Punahou (Ikeda, Lee, Sydney Fuke) finished in the top five overall.

Mililani placed second with a score of 465, followed by Moanalua in third with a score of 478. Iolani finished fifth overall despite being led by Wong’s impressive performance.
