Draymond emphasized the importance of defining who the team will be moving forward, acknowledging that the Warriors are evolving and not the same team they were in previous successful seasons. He praised coach Steve Kerr for adapting to these changes, such as giving more responsibility to young players like Kuminga.

While there are ongoing discussions about Thompson’s contract extension with Golden State, it is expected that the franchise will work to retain him.
