Hans K. Reisch is the new CEO of Spar AG, the Austrian supermarket chain. He will take over the position immediately, replacing Fritz Poppmeier who has stepped down due to illness. Reisch is a grandson of Spar founder KR Hans F. Reisch and has spent his entire professional life in various functions within the company. He has been a member of the board since 2001 and became deputy chairman in 2021. The four members of the proven management team will now lead Spar AG with their combined expertise.
