In the first quarter of 2024, the City of North Port celebrated the addition of 70 new businesses to its community during a Business Welcome event. The event, which took place at City Hall, honored the newcomers with signed certificates and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. They also had the opportunity to connect with local partners dedicated to their success.
During the event, businesses shared their concepts and networked with City staff, dignitaries, and business development organizations. Representatives from SCORE, SBDC Tampa Bay, CareerSource Suncoast, and the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce were present to provide essential tools and support to contribute to North Port’s flourishing business landscape.
