Sanoma’s shareholders’ nomination committee has been determined at an organizational meeting held on June 19. Juhani Mäkinen was elected as the chairman of the committee, who currently serves as vice chairman of the board of the Jane and Aatos Erko Foundation. The other members of the committee include Antti Herlin, Robin Langenskiöld, and Rafaela Seppälä. Pekka Ala-Pietilä, the chairman of Sanoma’s board of directors, was invited as an expert member of the nomination committee. These members represent Sanoma’s four largest shareholders. The purpose of the nomination committee is to prepare proposals related to the number, selection, and remuneration of board members for the annual general meeting.
