On Friday, the Giants completed their draft class signings with safety Tyler Nubin’s final agreement. Nubin, a second-round pick, signed a four-year contract with the NFC East team. During his time at Minnesota, Nubin played 55 games and started 43, setting a school record with 13 interceptions. He also tallied 207 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, 24 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

As the Giants look to fill the void left by Xavier McKinney’s departure from their secondary, Nubin has a good chance of earning a starting job. However, he will need to prove himself and avoid making too many mistakes during the preseason in order to secure his spot. If Nubin can perform well on the field and make an impact in the upcoming season, he should have a solid opportunity to continue contributing to the team’s success.
