The departure of Rashad Amos from the Colorado football team has left the running back room in a bit of a bind, but head coach Deion Sanders quickly secured the commitment of Isaiah Augustave, a transfer from Arkansas. Augustave, a former four-star prospect, showed promise in the SEC last season despite limited opportunities. As a freshman, he only had 35 carries but managed to accumulate 202 rushing yards and one touchdown.

One of Augustave’s standout performances came against Florida International when he rushed for 101 yards on just 14 carries, averaging 7.2 yards per rush. The following week, he had an impressive 80-yard game against Missouri. Augustave was highly ranked as a running back out of Naples High School in Florida and was the No. 13 recruit at his position in the 2023 class according to 247Sports.

Augustave arrives in Boulder with three years of eligibility left and adds depth and talent to Colorado’s running back room.
