Redshirt freshman Sua Lefotu from Bellflower, California, will be wearing the No. 92 jersey for Nebraska’s 2024 season. Lefotu was a three-star prospect out of St. John Bosco and ranked as a top-100 prospect in California by Rivals during his recruitment.

In addition to Nebraska, Lefotu received offers from several other schools such as Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Michigan State, Nevada, Tennessee, Washington and Wisconsin. He eventually signed with the Huskers as part of the 2023 recruiting class and saw playing time in three games during his true freshman season, recording two tackles and one fumble.

Lefotu is expected to continue as a rotational player for the Huskers in the upcoming 2024 season but may see increased playing time. In Nebraska’s 3-3-5 defense, he will be part of a rotation at nose tackle along with Nash Hutmacher and Riley Van Poppel.
