Nebraska has secured another big recruit for the class of 2025, with Houston Kaahaaina-Torres committing to the team on June 21. The three-star lineman is the top player in Hawaii and has been playing varsity football for St. Louis High School in Honolulu since his freshman year.

Despite receiving offers from schools like Arizona State, California, and Michigan State, Kaahaaina-Torres ultimately chose Nebraska over them. This marks the second consecutive year that Nebraska has landed the top recruit from Hawaii, following Preston Taumua’s commitment last year. With Kaahaaina-Torres’ commitment, Nebraska now has 13 commitments in its class and two offensive line commits, along with three-star offensive tackle Brian Tapu who committed just days before him.
