Nebraska Cornhuskers Offer Taimane Purcell Scholarship

Taimane Purcell, a three-star tight end from Kamehameha High School in Honolulu, Hawaii, received a scholarship offer from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The offer was the latest addition to the six scholarship offers he has received so far, including from the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, Utah Utes, Arizona State Sun Devils, SMU Mustangs, and Oregon Ducks.

Purcell played in just two games as a sophomore at his high school and made four catches for 72 yards and one touchdown. He shared his excitement about the offer on social media, thanking Nebraska for giving him the opportunity to play football at the University of Nebraska.

The Cornhuskers were impressed by Purcell’s performance at their football camp and extended him an invitation to join their team. Purcell is thrilled about the opportunity and is eager to showcase his skills on the field at Nebraska.
