NBC and Peacock broadcast the second round of the 124th U.S. Open at Pinehurst Resort & C.C., which drew a Total Audience Delivery of 2.38 million viewers, an 18% increase compared to 2023 and a 54% increase compared to 2022. The viewership peaked at nearly 3 million viewers from 6-6:15 p.m. ET, making it the most-watched U.S. Open second round since 2012. Peacock exclusively aired the second round and saw a 40% increase in viewership compared to last year’s comparable window, making it the most-streamed U.S. Open early rounds on record.

NBC Sports’ first rounds of an east coast U.S. Open since 2014 also attracted high viewership with a TAD of 1.51 million viewers, an 11% increase from 2022.

Peacock’s exclusive first round coverage on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. ET was the most-streamed golf telecast on record for NBC Sports, with a 52% increase in viewership compared to last year, while USA Network’s first round viewership was up by around
