The Jaguars are being sued for allegedly failing to supervise McManus and ensure a safe environment on a flight to London. This makes it imperative for the team to assert that McManus did not engage in any wrongdoing. However, if the NFL takes a different stance, it could complicate the Jaguars’ legal defense.

The question for 345 Park Avenue is whether to downplay the situation to benefit the Jaguars or thoroughly investigate and discipline McManus, potentially inviting legal challenges. It will be challenging to hold McManus accountable while also absolving the Jaguars. Any attempts to do so may be easily noticeable.
