Napoli’s captain, Giovanni Di Lorenzo, expressed his desire to leave the club this summer during a crisis meeting in Naples. While there were reports of a positive atmosphere and efforts being made to resolve the situation, Di Lorenzo’s agent, Mario Giuffredi, revealed that they did not even discuss his client’s future during the meeting. Instead, the focus was on another player, Michael Folorunsho, with almost reaching an agreement.

Giuffredi made it clear that they are letting Di Lorenzo concentrate on the Euros and that their stance on his desire to leave Napoli has not changed. The meeting took place in two hotels, with representatives from Napoli and Di Lorenzo’s agent attending. While there are mixed reports about the outcome of the meeting, it is apparent that Di Lorenzo is determined to leave Napoli and join Juventus. Despite this, Napoli continues to maintain that he is not on the market.

Folorunsho’s contract was also extended during the meeting, with Giuffredi reportingly agreeing to the extension. The situation surrounding Di Lorenzo’s future at Napoli remains unclear, but it is evident that tensions are high between the player and the club.
