As the Italian left-back Leonardo Spinazzola is currently out of contract, Napoli is considering bringing him to the club this summer. New manager Antonio Conte is a big fan of the 31-year-old and had almost signed him for his Inter team that won the Scudetto. According to Gianluca Di Marzio, talks between Napoli and Spinazzola are set to begin next week.

Spinazzola, who has 24 appearances for Italy and a European Championship winners medal to his name, was instrumental in Roma’s run to the Europa League semi-finals last season. Despite recent injury setbacks during his time at Roma, Napoli is eager to secure a deal with him as they look to strengthen their squad for the new campaign. The player’s experience and skills make him an attractive addition to Conte’s revamped four-man midfield strategy.
