Music festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach are driving a surge in bookings at Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert. Guests from across the country, including Atlanta and New York, have flocked to the hotel to attend the festivities. Many visitors are spending a significant amount of money during their stay, with estimates ranging from $4,000 to $15,000 for the weekend.

The economic impact of these music festivals in the Coachella Valley is estimated to be around $600 million, according to the City of Indio. Despite the high costs associated with attending these events, many guests believe that the experience is well worth it. For them, it’s all about the unique vibe and the opportunity to partake in something they may never get to do again.

Ryan Thomas, director of sales and marketing at Hotel Paseo, mentioned that his team is fully prepared to handle the extra demand during these popular events. With all 149 rooms expected to be fully booked for the upcoming weekends, Thomas said he expects business at Hotel Paseo will continue to thrive throughout music festival season.
