David J. Howells has been promoted to the position of President, MSA International by MSA Safety, Inc. In his new role, he will oversee all of MSA Safety’s business operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Dave Howells has been with the company since 1981 and has held various leadership positions within it.
Prior to his promotion, Mr. Howells served as the Vice President of Sales and Customer Marketing for MSA International. He played a crucial role in transforming the company’s commercial business with a more progressive Go-to-Market strategy. Throughout his tenure with MSA Safety, Mr. Howells has demonstrated strong leadership in global distribution channels and sales.
Steve Blanco, President, and CEO of MSA Safety expressed excitement about Mr. Howells continuing in this leadership role. He highlighted Mr. Howells’ contribution to accelerating revenue growth and expanding adjusted operating margins across the segment. Mr. Howells will continue to be based at MSA Safety’s International headquarters in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland.
