Motorola is set to launch two new smartphones, the Razr 50 and 50 Ultra, as part of their relaunch strategy. During a press conference, Carlo Barlocco, the Executive Director of Motorola in Italy, highlighted the company’s progress and market share.

Motorola is currently the second Android vendor in Italy after Samsung with a 14% market share and one million smartphones delivered last year. However, the company has been expanding into higher-end models like the Edge range and the Razr series.

The new products showcase Motorola’s focus on technology, content, and emotions, with features such as sustainable materials, new colors, and artificial intelligence through Moto AI and Gemini, Google’s AI model. The Razr 50 Ultra features improvements in performance and photography with a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 processor and two 50MP rear cameras. Additionally, it boasts an energy-efficient pOLED 4″ external display and a price that starts at €1199 euros. A more affordable Razr 50 model will be available in July.

Motorola is offering a promotion for buyers of the Razr 50 Ultra by providing them with a 12-month warranty on the display if purchased by July 31st. The phone has an improved hinge design along with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal memory
