In 2016, Moms Mental Health Initiative was founded by two mothers who recognized the difficulty in finding appropriate support from understanding providers during their own perinatal mental health struggles. The organization’s focus on peer support has helped over 1,000 mothers and birthing individuals in the community since its inception, providing hope and help during challenging times.
Today, we welcome Sarah Ornst Bloomquist as a guest on the show to discuss the upcoming Summer Social event organized by Moms Mental Health Initiative. This event aims to recognize the resilience of those who have navigated a perinatal mental health journey and to celebrate their strength.
