Philadelphia Phillies prospects Aidan Miller and George Klassen have been promoted to High-A Jersey Shore, taking a step closer to making it to the big leagues.

Shortstop Miller, ranked as the organization’s number two prospect, has had an impressive first full minor league season for the Threshers. He leads the Florida State League in doubles and is in the top five in slugging percentage and OPS. His strong performance has earned him a promotion to Jersey Shore.

On the other hand, Klassen has earned his promotion through sheer dominance on the mound. In just nine starts for Clearwater this season, he has allowed only 21 hits and struck out 57 hitters in 38 innings. His 0.71 ERA is the lowest in the FSL for any pitcher with at least 20 innings pitched, showcasing his talent and potential.

Last season, Klassen struggled with control issues at the University of Minnesota, but he has significantly improved in that area in his first season as a pro. With a three-pitch mix that includes a high-90s fastball, curve, and a nasty cutter, Klassen has been dazzling hitters. He is scheduled to pitch at home for Jersey Shore on Friday night, showcasing his skills and potential as a future star for the Phillies.

Both Miller and Klassen have shown their ability to excel at their respective positions, earning them promotions to High-A Jersey Shore. As they continue to develop their skills and gain experience playing against more advanced competition, they are one step closer to achieving their dreams of playing in the big leagues with Philadelphia Phillies.
